Nantucket:
As a Californian, this special place isn’t somewhere we grew up frequenting. We went in May. I was only on island for three nights but got a good lay of the land. I am not a local or a pundit but love sharing what I did.
Stayed:
The Nantucket - kids club, pool, different room sizes, close and walkable to town and everything you want. Bikes, games, cute good breakfast room, lovely family owned, etc. etc. I would pick it again.
Eat:
Cru - popular for a reason, has the vibe. Hopping bar scene.
Slip 14 - I’ll dream of the muscles forever. Changed my life.
Toppers - we had a lovely lunch.
Millie’s - queso!!
Brotherhood of thieves- i loved the aesthetic felt so north east to me, and they have a pizookie style dessert.
Provisions - sandwiches, everyone told me to go here.
And I’m embarrassed to tell you I didn’t get ice cream at Juice bar but saw it many times.
Shop: every single one, even Patagonia.
I love the local quirky ones, the jewelers, the seasonal pop-ups. All of it!
There’s so much charm, and it is hard to get to but one day we will return when I’ve saved enough for a traditional Nantucket basket, and a woolie piece of art!
The thrill this gives me! Under $100. XS - 3X.

The carpoolcatwalk™️ will one day be the happiest days of my life to look back on, but let’s be honest it’s also the bane of our existence! I swear moms get dressed for pickup and it makes me giggle and also inspires me. At our school there is a literal walkway in the middle of the lot everyone walks down. What about yours? Do you stay in the car or get out? How about sports carpools? Play dates? All the shifts.
